This little stone village cottage requires some updating, but is on the edge of a traditional village near the market towns of Rouillac and Jarnac
House
Ground floor
From the walled courtyard garden there are two doors that open into the house - one to the kitchen and one to the main living room. The galley-style kitchen area has an exposed beam ceiling and sufficient space for all of your appliances. It opens on to the main living room (29 sq m) which has a tiled floor and a large limestone fireplace. To one corner a staircase rises to the first floor. Next to the staircase a few steps lead down to a second reception room (15 sq m) with tiled floor and exposed beam ceiling. To the end of this room is a small corridor, off which are a small laundry room and a WC. From here a few steps lead back up into the kitchen.
First floor
The stairs rise to the first floor landing, off which are three rooms (14 sq m, 11 sq m and 7 sq m) as well as a bathroom.
Garden
To the front of the house is a small, walled courtyard garden, part of which is covered to provide a shaded outdoor area.
This house was rented out until recently, has been a little neglected and would benefit from some redecoration and perhaps some repairs to the roof. But they don´t often come onto the market at this price! It could make a wonderful holiday getaway.
